“A salute to the Divine Nine” exhibit at the Ethnic Heritage Museum every Sunday from 2:00-4:00 from January 29, to April 29, 2012. There are nine historically Greek letter African American fraternities and sororities. Hear how these service organizations of college educated men and women impact our community in areas from youth development, education, scholarship, health awareness and social action.

The unveiling of the exhibit Reception - Sunday, January 29, 2012 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Ethnic Heritage Museum, 1129 S. Main Street, Rockford, IL 61102. Light refreshments will be served.

In honor of Black History Month 2012, Chromelight II magazine, Rockford College and the African American Gallery of the Ethnic Heritage Museum are partnering to provide support for the preservation of Rockford’s African American history.
