The Hispanic Gallery offers authentic costumes from several Hispanic countries. Observers can view the beautiful “Hats” tapestry from Nicaragua donated by Mercedes Dewey, daughter of Constance Miller, a former Rockfordian.
There are many artifacts from Spain, Costa Rica and Rockford area artists. There are always seasonal changes within the gallery.

Hispanic Gallery altar honors deceased loved ones.
You may place memorabilia on the altar.
Ceremony begins in the Lockwood Gallery at 4:00 p.m.
Ceremonial prayer is conducted in Spanish.
A time of fellowship will follow.
Everyone is welcome to attend and participate.
The altar will be in the Hispanic Gallery through Nov. 10.
Visitors may stop Sundays from 2-4 p.m.
Gallery Tours may be scheduled other days.
